János Talabér (Budapest, 1974 –) is a teacher, university lecturer, ecclesiastical lawyer, patient rights representative, and QM manager.

He spent his childhood in Dabas, Pest County. He graduated with a theology teacher diploma in 1998, followed by qualifications in English language teaching, ecclesiastical law, philosophy teaching, and public education leadership, as well as a specialization exam as a patient rights representative. During his university years, he continuously worked as an EMT and later as a Paramedic, serving in the United States as well.
He holds qualifications as an ambulance nurse, emergency medical technician, and American AEMT. For nearly ten years, he helped the work of the National Ambulance Service in Hungary with the private foundation ambulance service granting ambulance vehicles (2014-2023). He has an academic degree (promotion) in church law.
Since 2006, he has been involved in health law, collaborating with his friend and law professor colleague, Péter Antalóczy. He has numerous internationally recognized joint and individual publications in the fields of health law and English linguistics.
In addition to his high school teaching activities, he has been a lecturer at ELTE, Semmelweis University, Zsigmond Király College, and Harsányi János College. Currently, he is a part-time lecturer at the Faculty of Humanities at Károli Gáspár University, participating in university life as a member of a research group due to his foreign commitments.
He also taught social science subjects at the Faculty of Health Sciences and Social Studies for three years. He has served as a guest lecturer abroad at Mary Baldwin College in Virginia and has traveled to Germany, England, Poland, France, and Finland during Erasmus study trips. A master teacher, he also takes on the role of exam president each year.
He is committed to emergency patient care and has gained experience abroad.
He has worked (and is working) as an andvanced emergency medical technician in the United States, Germany, and Austria. Language skills: Hungarian mother tongue (C2), English at advanced level (C2), German at intermediate level (B2), and Latin at beginner level (A2).
